Hello everyone,
I'm back here today with a (hence the post name)-- guess it -- yes, white! It is another older manicure and I just realized how far behind I am in posting, so I add some other pics today, too.
Here goes a nice Colorama white polish which is a cheapo and so-so in application.
Glossy (on its own) and matte (with Essie Matte About You).
The polish tends to thicken up real fast. 7.5ml. I finally obtained a thinner and now it's nice and has a great consistency. I really recommend everyone to look up for Colorama's since they do make some dupe-y polishes for such a bargain.
Here are some of the designs I tried on single nails, just to look how it'll look like.
This one was based on the design I saw@ The Lacquer Files. Colorama white, Rimmel Urban Princess, Avon Pastel Pink, and the green I can't remember.
This one -- made by tutorial @Nails By Asami.
And finally -- this one done by myself. A watermelon thing, using a several layers of jelly neon Orly Passion Fruit for the transparet-y squishy look, Orly Matte Vinyl for seeds on each layer of PF, SH Emerald City, Orly Enchanted Forest, China Glaze Limonyte, Rimmel Jade Glamour, China Glaze Paper Chasing for the cortex.
Please excuse the state of my cuticles! :)
Hope y'all enjoying your time.

Timeless
Hey world,
I'm back with another older manicure.
This one was on for, I guess, 4 days or more, and I'd wear it longer if I didn't have such big chips.
So here go my nails in Black Out by Sally Hansen. I consider black polish as a timeless classic.
Black out is a deep black jelly. I'm sure you saw many brown or blue based blacks, but this one is...black based black?
I love the colour and I love it being jelly. But I have the same problem with some other SH's I have : they never dry. I had dents after couple days passed, and it's no fun. I want my black to be hard as steel, glossy and jelly. Might give it another try with a SH quickdry topcoat, but I guess I'll still go for some other one. Any recommendations, ladies?
What for black – I'd wear it forever, because it looks amazing on short and long nails, with almost any outfit and you can go with any interpretation: be that punk, elegant, goth or whatever – it's universal and versatile.
By the way, the name makes me think of one of Muse songs I have in my favourites since 2005.

Woo-hoo, can you feel the halloween in the air? Still have to think on the halloween mani idea.
Happy upcoming Halloween everyone!

Don't make me angry
Hello, ladies.
This manicure is more than a week old. I've been inspired by myself beeing moody. Let the pics say everything:
The good hand is black with ring finger white. Why ring? It's meant to be something sacred, you know what ring I'm talking about. Too bad it was my left hand, oh well...
The angry one is all about... well, I think it's needless to say what does it mean to have middle finger pop out. Even colorwise.
Black and red have stained my nails like hell. Like hell.
Black is one coat Matte Vinyl by Orly topped off with Sally Hansen - Black Out, glossy sheery black, which caused the lovely crackle effect, so matching.
Red is one coat Rimmel - Stiletto Red (blue based middle toned red) + another one coat of Rimmel - Ruby Me (sheer scarlet). White is two coats Maybelline Colorama #51.
I wore this for a little while, but I'll definitely do this again. For a longer time. 'Cause I think that it friggin' rocks.
Cheers.

Some comparisons//pic heavy//
Hello tout le monde!*
Long time no post, since I have much less time, got school, so I fill in my free time with coffee cups and sleep. But who cares about me, anyways! :)
Let's get to the business. I promised to make some comparisons. This is actually my first time to do it, so all the recommendations are highly welcome.
This one was questioned by me long time ago, One of them was my favourite colour in 4th grade, so it's exxxtremely old. The other one was bought a little less than a year ago (not sure), because I'm a sucker for this kind of colours.
I found them dupes back then. Now look what I got:
1 thick coat Orly It's Up To Blue :index+ring
1 coat Avon Ocean Breeze: middle+pinkie
here you see the opacity. Avon is much more sheer, it needs about 3-4 coats.
And you definitely will be fine even with one thick orly coat.
this is still one coat orly versus 3 coats of avon. In real life, Avon is much lighter and less deep, I wish I could make more colour-accurate pics...
I love the depth of Orly. Anyway, that avon shade is long gone :)
2004! Haha!
I used Avon one over sephora's blue, which totally died by now. It was a quite long time ago...
---
Next up: Rimmel Blue me away VS. SH Spark
Rimmel: index+ring
SH: middle + pinkie
They seriously looked alike to me. But they are totally not! SH looks more purple-shimmered in the bottle, but that shimmer is not that visible. It's loads of blue shimmer mixed with slightly larger purple one. Or not larger. Not sure! Rimmel is packed with copper-violety shimmer. What they have in common is the base : both dark rich blue, both very pigmented, SH is more. 1 Coat SH, 2 coats Rimmel.
--
SH Emerald City VS ChG Paper Chasing
These two looked a bit similar. But even in the bottle the difference is obvious.
SH: Index+ring
ChG: Middle+pinkie
Paper Chase is sheer like hell. This is 4 coats.
Emerald city is pretty opaque, this is two coats.
PC is lighter and brighter, EC is deeper, forest green.
That's all for now. I'm extremely sorry for the mess.
Hope something helps!
Have a great day.

The autumn is here!
Hello lovely ladies! Can you feel the autumn tonight? :)
In the continuation of the rainbow theme, there's another mani I found pretty interesting.
Straight to the pics!
Skychaser! :)
This was a semi-rainbow angled tips on matte black. This is day three, I guess.
Matte black is Orly Matte Vinyl, my pretty one-coater, if I'm not shaky.
Tips: Thumb - China Glaze Paper Chasing (will be posting this one later on alone!), Index - Orly It's Up To Blue, Middle - Sally Hansen - Blue It, Ring - Sally Hansen Cyber, Pinkie - Maybelline Colorama in magenta shimmer (unnamed). These all are 3-4 coats I believe. Paper Chasing is pretty known for its ridiculous sheerness.
I didn't take pics right after the mani was done and fresh, my bad, but I wanted to rejuvenate the actual look. You know mattes get satin pretty fast.
So here are the pics with one coat of Essie Matte About You + Orly Top2Bottom for tips compared to the "worn" look.
See the difference? It's pretty obvious. But I don't really mind the three-days-old look too.
The look on them really cheered me up when I was sad.
There was a City Day on 4.09. The photo kind of reminded me of it. Happy Birthday Moscow!
Have a great day!

Seize the rainbow!
Hello girls!
The summer is over. While painting my nails "1st Sept." special, I've decided to make a quick post. Ocassionally, it's the 13th post, which was kind of meant to be not like the most others. :)
This one was made by request. It's bright and cheering, but I did take it off because it doesn't actually look that fun on long nails IMO. But certainly the mani like that IS FUN!!!
Here you go!
| Orly - Matte Vinyl, ||| Rimmel - Ruby Me, | Sephora - ? , |||| Colorama - 82, || SH - Emerald City, |||| Orly - Green With Envy, || SH - Blue It, || SH - Cyber, || Orly - Soul Mate, | Colorama - 51
(| - coat)
Sorry for some mess!
Here it is nail-by-nail.
Pics are all clickable!
CELEBRATE THE LAST SUMMER DAY!:)))
Cheers at all of you, be happy!

Old nail art attempts!
Hello ladies!
I'm here today to keep you entertained with some oldies.
Sometimes I DO nail art, trying to achieve something okay-looking (atleast)
Here is one of the attempts which I'm really fond of!
I'm here today to keep you entertained with some oldies.
Sometimes I DO nail art, trying to achieve something okay-looking (atleast)
Here is one of the attempts which I'm really fond of!
As you can see it's a vinyl record being played :)
I used Orly Mirror Mirror, an amazing grey for the base, Avon Warm Black as the vinyl, (I guess) Sally Hansen Cherry Red for the label and some cheapo nail art lacquer in silver glitter...
I had this one a few months ago.
Ah, this is my beloved one. I'm sorry for the crappiness of this, the tipwear and lack of cleanup...whoops!
This mani is the Alice game inspired... plus interpreted. as you can see, I've swapped the colours :) and I love it! Even if it's soooo $#1tty. I'll probably do this one again!
As you can see, my nails were oval back then. Even a bit stilletto-ish :)
I used SH Cherry Red, Avon Warm Black, Avon White.
That's all, folks!
See you next time!
