A little bit random

Hello.

I thought it would be time for some rambling about this and that in my blog.
There are some thoughts I just feel like sharing with you.

Firstly, it annoys me so much, when some person just doesn't even try to say something meaningful, and by this I mean constructive, in their comment, just trying to force one to follow their blog. I mean this : "hello nice blog follow me cause I follow you" and things alike.
Well, girls. Nothing comes easy. I'm not here to gain more followers, I'm here for those, who come here and enjoy what I do. You see? THEY come. It's not me linkwhoring anyone. And that's why I'm so happy about each follower who stays there because likes my stuff.
That totally doesn't deserve any respect just to go and soulless-ly try to gain moremoremore followers to gain moremoremore comments.
Whew.
And another thing. About comments too, now about mine. Just as all (most) of you, sometimes I comment shortly and commonly, when I've nothing more to say than just how I feel about some polish. But sometimes, I guess even mostly, I take a little bit more of myself in my comments. And maybe that's just me, but I get so...say, offended, when some person just ignores it, "choosing" people whom to answer, and, of course, I'm never there. Yeah, I understand, there are a lot of people following and commenting some blogs, but when it's obviously possible to answer to each one, I get a little furious. Sure, that comes and goes pretty quickly, but it leaves a tiny "scar" on how I feel about that person. Ahaha, yes, I'm easily hurt.

And still not to get you so very bored of my annoyed talkings, there's some old manicure for you, that didn't actually last long, I've peeled it off the same day. You know why? It was so awfully made. But nonetheless, I've got a lot of compliments on this one.
This is Orly Gumdrop + Maybelline Colorama #104. Sorry for the pre-cleanup look, somehow I didn't get myself to take a normal photo of this one done.

Thanks for reading!

I just wish...

Coffee Time

Hey!

[Psst, let's pretend we didn't see the latest post, if you know what I mean, girls ;) ]

Comparing to all the drama happening to me lately, I decided to put here one really calm manicure I had on some days ago.
Here goes an amazing Catrice - Clay-ton, My Hero
Clay-ton is my awesome latte colour, a bit colder than the "perfect" one ;) But I still love it a lot!
It has a subtle golden shimmer to it, which shows up in the light and looks really beautiful.
With my lens mug! I'm passionate about photography, so it was a must have for a photo-freak like me! :) Psst, I make coffee better than Starbucks, DD and MD! ;) I wish I could invite you all.
See, Clayton looks creme here. It spmetimes does in life too. Just because the shimmer is really subtle.

This awesomeness came to me from my amazing Aurica, whose Catrice giveaway I won. There was such a coincidence that saved time and money! I'm from russia and some may know, how awful is the mail situation here. But Aurica is a wife of a Moscovite (citation), and exactly at that time there was her mother in law, who actually brought me the prize all the way from Netherlands with her! So we saved time, 'cause local mail processes everything way to slow, and money for sending! It made me get some extra bottles! ;)
Anyway! I'm really happy to have these here with me. I've already worn another one, I'm sure to post it a bit later.

Let's get back to the handsome Clayton lad.
Quite all catrice polishes (I've tried) are fairly good pigmented, so one thick coat might be enough, but  you see 2 thin coats on me. Impressing, isn't it? :)
Consistency is just like cream, smooth, not runny, not thick.
Color-wise it's a cool mid-toned beige with subtle golden shimmer.
I'm totally fond of this one.

Thanks for reading and be happy!

P.S. as I promised, Aurica, double rainbow in Moscow, months ago! :)

Don't make me angry

Hello, ladies.

This manicure is more than a week old. I've been inspired by myself beeing moody. Let the pics say everything:

The Good hand

do you see the crackled black?
 The Angry hand
I'm sorry for the blurriness of some and the state of the cuticles.
The good hand is black with ring finger white. Why ring? It's meant to be something sacred, you know what ring I'm talking about. Too bad it was my left hand, oh well...
The angry one is all about... well, I think it's needless to say what does it mean to have middle finger pop out. Even colorwise.
Black and red have stained my nails like hell. Like hell.
Black is one coat Matte Vinyl by Orly topped off with Sally Hansen - Black Out, glossy sheery black, which caused the lovely crackle effect, so matching.
Red is one coat Rimmel - Stiletto Red (blue based middle toned red) + another one coat of Rimmel - Ruby Me (sheer scarlet). White is two coats Maybelline Colorama #51.

I wore this for a little while, but I'll definitely do this again. For a longer time. 'Cause I think that it friggin' rocks.

Cheers.

Polish with a feeling

Good evening, ladies.
I have a quite special post today. This is my first Zoya polish ever.
Meet the incredible Zoya Jo.
Why is it special? My alter ego's name is Josephine and basically just my favourite female name, I guess. And that colour reminds of one very special thing from my childhood, I'll make another mani later on that features another colour that is dear to me.
This colour itself is so calm, it makes me happy just to look at it. Reminds me of a beautiful winter/spring sky, morning sea, beautiful forget-me-not's... My Mr. called it doll-like and unnatural though, but who said it makes the colour less beautiful..?
It also has that vintage feeling to me.

To the qualities. This was two coats I believe, if I messed up something, then three. Dry time is average, but I used a quick-dry topcoat anyway. I live fast pace :)
Still, I didn't wear it long enough, but it what just happens to the save-best-for-last things.
Mostly, I took it off because of this:

Ugh, that was painful. I'm not that kind of girl who will whine about breaking a beautiful long nail, it was just painful. Even bloody.
So now I'm short, as you might mention. :)

I hope you all are doing okay.  Have a nice day!
